day 47... i rode my fish today. nonstop from 9am to 4pm. fresh feet in the morning, and still fresh feet at the end of the day.. of the greatest snow. and one of the coolest things is im not even tired.. that board saves so much energy in pow along with the fact that its probably the best snowboard in the world if you ask me, all things considered.
all journal entries
kiri minicoached me today as i attempted to learn (re-learn? but long enough ago that it was basically learning anew) half-cab on, back 1 out on a box. i want to win a snowboard.
Not too many runs today. I accomplished much in a short time. Then lisa hurt her ankle and we decided to call it.
Stupid snowboarding, stupid park.
I was having such a good time. We found a little bit of fresh in the trees, did some fast groomer runs, switch getting better. Got some good 180s going.
Then just did something really stupid on the wall ride. Lame.
Hit the slopes with Jon's little brother and uncle. AND JON. He got himself a knee brace and promised to take it MEGA easy and he kept his word.
more awesome pow. got lighter overnight. best snow ive ridden in forever. im actually snowboarding again...
I don't think I've ever ridden at Killington in better non-powder-day conditions. It was sunny and warm but the snow just soft and not slushy. I've never ridden Superstar when there weren't giant ice patches before.
Also I had a great weekend riding with my sisters and Jess.
We ended our weekend with waffles..mmm...waffles.
Northstar again. This time with Alex. We had a lazy morning and then met up with Christophe and his buddies for some cruising through the park. The TransAm was happening so it was pretty empty. Boardslid a couple of the longer boxes. Felt sketchy. I suck. Life goes on.
Woke up early. Was on the hill by 9. Couldn't believe the lines.
