SIA Free Ride Fest - Day 1

Today was the first day of the post-SIA Free Ride Fest. We decided not to demo because that really cuts down your riding time.
 
We quickly found the parks. They had a large (huge!) park and a medium park. I think the medium park was more of a beginner park as everything was ride on. Yesterday I was doing gap ons so this was a bit of regression. However I did start getting my backside boardslides down and my nosepresses. I really want to learn to do frontside boardslides.
 
I did demo a 2011 Burton Lipstick. It's a little different than the 2010 but really it felt pretty much the same to me. Maybe it was a bit faster edge to edge, but it still had the problem of have to load way back on the tail to pop. I think I want to get my hands on Ride Compact. That board is so much fun to ride.
