Great first day on the hill.  A little windy and cold up on the lift and at the top (OK maybe a LOT) but overall not as bad as I thought it might be.  Conditions weren't too bad either, no bare patches--at most some tiny branches sticking up out of the ground.

I finally got my first day on snow! We almost didn't make it as the closed the pass on Route 80. But thankfully we had friends about 20 minutes from where the roadblock was. We finally ambled over to Northstar around noon. I picked up my pass and we headed up. The first run my front leg was in agony. It felt like a giant knot.

Small patch of man made snow at tyrol. Two lines. Spent most of the nigh sessioning rail, rail, tube line. Working on front boards. Good times!
